Our 1st XV face top four team Blackburn tomorrow and will be bolstered by the return to action of a few familiar names. Back from injury, Will Midwinter starts his first game of the season in the centres and both Luke Hardern and Rob McDermott will add experience from the bench in an otherwise unchanged lineup from the side that ran Rossendale close last week.

Back at Altrad Park there is a tasty match-up in store for our home supporters as our fourth placed 2nd team welcome Uttoxeter's third placed 1st team. The 2s continue to build a little more familiarity about their side and this week will welcome the additions of Joel Hine, returning to action following an injury, and, Josh Ballance, bringing his considerable skill set to proceedings.

Fantastic also to see the senior debut of current Colt Lucas who we hope will be the first of several of our senior colts to push through into senior rugby this season.

Also at home this week are our 3rd XV who name a 22-man strong squad for the visit of our friends from Belper. This has become a regular home and away friendly fixture for the 3s and is always played in the right spirit with some decent fun to be had post-match in the bar as well.

The clubhouse will be open from 2pm serving cold beers, hot food, live Premiership Rugby on the big screens and a warm, friendly, rugby club atmosphere.

It's also our vice presidents day on and we look forward to welcoming these valued supporters of our club.
