For those with good memories, we opened the season with a close fought pre-season friendly game against Derby. Lots of water has flowed under the bridge since then - our hosts finished ninth in Regional 1 Midlands having played against the likes of Burton, Long Eaton and Silhilians.

Coaches Booth and Appleyard will be looking to mount another charge to the finals at Sixways, whilst also taking the chance to give first team experience to some of our squad members.

Our 2s head south to face Tamworth 2s in the first round of their quest to retain the Staffordshire Centenary Cup title they claimed last season.

The Moorlanders will be looking to pick up where they left off after a big celebration of their league win last weekend. They face a Tamworth side who finished 10th in their equivalent league this season.

And our 3s make the short journey to Trentham to take on their 2s to conclude their Staffs Merit Table season.
