A combined Leek RUFC senior team visited Whitchurch RUFC for their first warm up game prior to the season commencing and came out winners 31-24 .

Tries from Ollie Powell, a brace from Billy Kidd and another from Jack Newton-Taylor, plus three conversions from Will Midwinter, were enough to see off the hosts.

Leek now prepare for the visit of Sandbach 2nds to Esterchem park on Saturday 27 August in another preseason game.
