Leek 2nds continued their excellent early season form with a win on the road against Rugeley.
A brace from Harry Byrne followed Nick Palmer's opener and a penalty from Jack Winfield to put the Moorlanders up 5-22 at the break.
Rugeley took advantage of skipper Andy Thompson's yellow card to pull one back through a penalty try, but another Winfield penalty steadied the ship. The hosts crossed the line again to move within one score, but a red card for a bad high tackle saw them reduced to 14.
The blue and white pulled away with tries from player of the match Conlon Newton-Taylor and Thompson to claim their fourth win in five games, 19-37. Next up for Thommo's men is a massive game against third placed Uttoxeter, who boast an equal record so far this season.
