Winters Park was a happy hunting ground for the Moorlanders last year as they earned a hard-fought win, so the lads will be looking for a repeat performance.

Thanks to our transport sponsors, Stantons of Stoke and Investco Land, the squad will be traveling by coach and there are a few seats still available for supporters. They cost £15 each and the coach will leave at 10am with an expected return around 8.30pm. Contact Mark Hardern on 07539 336299.

For those unable to make the trip, Altrad Park will see both the 2nd and 3rd XVs in action. The 2s will be looking to build on last week's victory over Eccleshall as they host Stone in a 3pm kickoff. The 3s will get their season under way with a game against Longton 2nds.

Earlier on Saturday, Leek Colts also get their season up and running when they visit Longton for a 12 noon kickoff.
